North Carolina

Few circumstances in the state of North Carolina allow record expungement, except for those under the age of 21. Typically, these individuals are still required to wait one to two years, complete any mandatory rehabilitative programs or probation, and then apply for the expungement process. Even after achieving expungement it’s worth mentioning that your records are still visible to their courts system, and in turn raise concern as to the likelihood of it being accessed by other state police departments and understandably easy for the FBI to do so. This state only allows one expungement, and of course prior expungements are visible to the courts system upon additional offenses.
