Outside of identify fraud and reversed or dropped convictions, Virginia has little room for consideration of record-sealing or expungement of convicted criminal offenders, regardless of the nature of crime(s). What’s defined as an “absolute pardon” is required (only possible through convictions reversed or dropped) for even being considered to have your convictions and arrest records sealed or expunged. Those that successfully do however can elect not to disclose it to prospective customers and not have to be burdened by public access to their records.
